Samsung has confirmed that the phablet line will continue this year as there are already alleged leaked images of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 rounding up on the internet.
In a recent report, ssome snaps of the upcoming flagship phablet seem to channel the Galaxy S8. The leaked photo of the upcoming phablet that surfaced on Slashleaks shows a large phone running Bixby, Samsung’s own AI assistant.
It looks similar to the recently revealed Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus with a full-frontal screen and has no physical home button. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 phablet could be the best phone the company has ever built when it unveils this year.
The Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature a 6.4-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution, powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor depending on the region, and will come with a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Interestingly, according to reports, the “Note 8’s dual-camera is reported to be even better than that of Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus, and likely will match that of OLED iPhone,” As reported, an analyst claim that the camera will be the Galaxy Note 8’s most significant upgrade, apart from the Infinity Display design.
The camera will deliver 3x optical zoom, 12MP wide-angle CIS (correction image space), dual photodiode (2PD) support, 13MP telephoto CIS, dual 6P lenses and dual OIS optical image stabilization. The Galaxy Note 8 will more likely to feature USB-C instead of MicroUSB.
Samsung is known for adhering to a tight schedule when releasing flagship phones, which early reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will possibly arrive in the last quarter of 2017. As for the price, last year’s Galaxy Note 7 came with a starting price of $850 and the price of Galaxy S8 Plus is at $825, so expect the price tag of Galaxy Note 8 to play with that cost.
